The PSRP held an extremely successful dissemination conference on 12th Feb 2009 at the Royal College of Physicians, London. The conference was opened by Sir Liam Donaldson, CMO and chaired by Prof Paul Barach, Professor of Safety Science, and Director, New South Wales Injury Risk Management Centre, Australia.
We received presentations from the final tranche of PSRP projects; final reports from these projects will be published in the public domain shortly (by end 2009). Findings covered a breadth of patient safety research from medication error in nursing homes to the synthesis of research funded by the PSRP.
