The Cancer and Chronic Disease Team has a programme of work encompassing studies relating to the primary care-based diagnosis and management of disease. The team includes clinical research fellows (GP and public health), non-clinical researchers and research support staff.  Close collaborations are in place with Unit of Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics,  University Hospital Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, Birmingham Women's and Good Hope Hospitals, the Wellcome Clinical Research Facility, the Division of Cancer Studies, University of Cardiff, Oxford University and Weston Park Hospital, Sheffield.
