Birmingham University Research Network for Complementary and Alternative Medicine

Dr Nicola Gale, from Primary Care, and Dr Eliot Marston, the BUPA Translational Research Manager, have set up a Birmingham University Research Network for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.

 We had the first meeting of the group in November 2009 to discuss research interests.  In attendance were researchers from social science, psychology, medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, primary care, public health and biosciences, as well as clinicians and volunteers from University Hospitals Birmingham Foundation Trust and Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health Foundation Trust.
